Okay - so I'm just trying this stuff out to see how it works without Kelley coaching me through.
We had a fun and fast couple of days at Kelley's in Rexburg last weekend.
Dad got off work early and we did some quick stop offs on the way - (I made dinner for my R.S. secretary who had just had her gall bladder removed - and the owners of Plates and Palates who live in our ward had a death in the family so dropped off some bread) - and then we headed north.
We stopped in Brigham City to briefly visit Sister Baird who is at an assisted living facility. I received a call from her daughter-in-law Thursday saying that she is probably close to the end. She was in bed and pretty drugged up for pain - but we visited a bit with her and Tammy (d-in-law) and some granddaughters. It is hard to to see her so reduced - but she still had her hair done and some make-up on.
We arrived at Kelley's in time for a delcious dinner and the next day we played at a family fun type of place in town and had lunch at Gringo's. We also had to stop at Florence's chocolates - and Paradise Donuts - so much for our healthy weekend. On our way home, we met up with Kelley and Nicki at Sam's Club in Idaho Falls as Kelley was going there to visit one of her VT sisters in the hospital there.
It was all too fast - but as the snow was beginning to fall we needed to get on the road.
Dad has pictures on his cell phone - so we will have to figure that part out later.
